I would call this section a place to test your faith to see if you can withstand what is to come.....

depends who uses it. I like to think it is used in the most part as a helpful tool to reach others. But we all have a tendency to get silly once in a while on here. I do it all the time when I am tired, then I start being a smart @ss, I mean no harm and I just try to break the serious nature of the way some act. Most on here mean no harm.

It can be used for both. I depends on what side of the fence the person is on who is asking the question or giving the answer. It's a means to reach out to people. Whether your message is of hope as the Christian offers or if it's of.....well.....what is it exactly the Atheists are offering? It has had a positive effect on my personal life and there have been many who wrote to me and thanked me for the answers I gave that made a difference in their lives. To me, that makes it all worthwhile.

God bless!

It can be considered a *self anhilation* tool of the divine....

however I'm kinda hoping that it's a melting pot...where...eventually... after we batter each other's faiths and beliefs to the core...

we can eventually come to some sort of *mutual* truth!

it's an educational section that teaches everybody different things such as different philosical and religious ideas and cultural customs and values as well as science so it could be looked at as a blessing or evil or in my point of view as an agnostic as an educational experience but it all depends on everybody's own personal point of view

I consider the R&S section to be a blessing. I enjoy it very much!

i think it would be alot better if people used it for what it was for. what it is for is respectful dialogue for those who seek answers or a Christian perspective. it is not for trying to force ideas on others or to critisize someone elses beliefs.

it's a blessing to me because i get to see all different points of view from all denominations and other religions as well.

Neither. It is a heading that apparently too many people take way to personal or see something in it that does not exist.

It's the room where we put all of the psycho fanatics. People who are truly religious/spiritual don't need verification from the yahoos here.
