Hello, I am interested in the Islamic religion. Can you please explain to me the role women play. Why do they cover their faces? Why do they walk behind men? Is this common pratice and all branches of Islam?

Role- to serve their husbands and breed. Women should not be seen or heard, or they're that ugly. Because they don't have the priviledge of walking next to their man. Yep.

Hi sweetheart!
I'll be glad to tell you the role we women play in islam. Honestly there are so many misjudgments about women in islam. You dont have to cover your face. You chose to. You don't even have to wear the head scarf. It's your choice. Don't listen to the person under me. Obviously he's not muslim so he can't tell you anything. The reason we were the head scarf is so that men cannot see our beauty. Some women walk behind their husbands as a sign of respect. If you have any other questions on Islam feel free to ask me!

Women are considered equal to men. Women walking behind men is cultural. They cover their faces be cause of a verse in the Qur'an. I don't remember which one. I hope I was of help.

Women are the wives and mothers. They can have businesses though and work, but not alongside of men who are ghair-muharram. Ghair-muharram is a man who is not your father, brother, son or nephew, or father in law. He is not related to you.

They cover their faces because of modesty. They do not want to show of their beauty to ghair-muharram. They walk behind ghair muharram men because they do not want to show off their beauty. This way, they are not being seen. However, if it is your husband, father, brother, son, nephew, I don't think there is any problem in walking beside them.

If you have any more questions please email me.
