It's a double edges sword here. For one Constantine marked the end of hundreds of years of Roman persecution of Christians, just letting the Christians live obviously would help the missionary efforts in that there would be more of them, he also made it "cool" to be a Christian.
The darker edge of that sword is that he didn't really know much about Christianity, and he pretty much tried to take it over - imposing his authority at important councils such as Nicea and Trent, even though he was never properly called or ordained as any sort of church leader. He essentially was the key that turned Christianity from a simple religion to a massive political entity.

He corrupted it.he mixed Roman mythology,to make it more except able to the people. He changed completely.Ins ted of preaching the free gift of salvation. He said what Christ did on the cross was a good example for a life.Ins ted of payment for sin.
He tied a burden on peoples back,of rules ,regulations, and rituals to earn Gods' love. That is a double whammy. He led countless of people to believe that they can top their Creator. What could you give to God if he created everything? He got people to worship a building, and institution ins ted of God.
An got the world to believe that God walks around with a big stick.Seeing who he can crush. Why would a God who went through the trouble of creating the earth for us.An when we get ourselves into mischief. He sends his own son.An Jesus said himself in the Lord's Prayer,"OUR FATHER." not my Father.

Constantine was a pagan roman emperor who edited and compiled the bible, throwing most of the books out. they also consolidated the myth of christ, using pagan writings from mithras, an earlier cult that mirrored the myth of christ.
Face it. The bible was created by a pagan leading the Nicaean Council. And you wonder why it is so full of errors? People need to wake up...
