Oh,we are so humane.Please,wtf are you talking about.These days everything is served so everyone is idealistic.I am aware where my comfortable life comes from.And I don't mind to kill a tree or a animal to have that life,and not to be hungry or cold.But I do believe that planet resources could be used with more attention.Where you chop a tree,plant another,don't destroy water resources,recycle....etc.That way we keep our comfortable lives.But I'm not scared to kill a tree or an animal,but when ever I do it,I try to make it quick and painless.God gave us Earth to be her Masters,and that means to use her but also to protect her,because that is what good master does.

Probably. I hear that live lobsters scream when they are being boiled alive for our "Red Lobster" dinner but we keep doing it. I think the question is, if YOU PERSONALLY had to cut the tree down or boil your own lobster, would you or could you do it if they were screaming?! I don't think I could. But I sure do love a nice log on the fire and melted butter with my lobster! Go figure.

I sure wouldn't. I don't like to cut down trees period. But if trimming them made them scream also, that would really suck. My heart would just break. What about if smaller plants screamed. My life would be unbearable-- I'm a florist!

Roald Dahl (who wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mathilda, and James and the Giant Peach as novels long before they were movies) wrote a story about that in 1950 called The Sound Machine. Check it out.

well, i am not being sarcastic here...but if the tree started talking to me, i would throw the axe down and run like heck. but truly, i wouldn't cuz, i can't stand to hurt someone or in this case something.
