Last night I got an email from Yahoo Answers.

Message Thank you. My eyes actually look like that. Big and sad. I hate them though.

Oh, if you were a girl, and looked like that, I'd be all over you! ;) ......

So we chatted back and forth and that was it, I didn't even write about sex. I did say I love you as a joke after she wrote I love you in spanish. Then I got two e-mails in the morning from her. She sent me her e-mail which I used and wrote back afternoon. Again we wrote back and forth a while and then she writes her phone number to call her.

I called her after work and a guy was screaming on the phone telling me not to call her 12 year old daughter and they called the sheriff. What was that? I never did ask her age and she never asked me. She had 13 on her name and 98 on her e-mail. 13 could be her age or a bad luck #. The 98 could be her graduation year? She was talking about guys fighting for her at work. That doesn't sound 12. Was that a set-up?

My last sentence note was. What is wrong with you, are you crazy? Why would you give your number away with all the weirdos around?

Does matter. Next time ask a person's age. Haven't you seen Dateline NBC yet?

A step up

Don't worry about it, this was just a young girl who was playing around. Now you didn't have any idea what her age was and didn't even mention sex

Now I would suggest you be a little more careful when dealing with people you met online but I wouldn't worry too much.

In your phone call I would have told him that she gave you this number and had no idea her age, he just doesn't want to accept that his daughter was the one would initate it

I would not worry about it unless they actually do call the sheriff. Her father should be screaming at her, not you. You can not control what his daughter does, especially if she is lying about her age and talking to people older than her. I don't think it was a set up, just a kid trying to be older than she is.

I think someone is having a joke at you.

Get over it; nothing happens. I can't see how you have done anything illegal, and frankly I can't see the humour

There are a lot of naiive people around, handing out numbers. I would suspect that was someone giving you a number and pretending to be someone else.

Take it as a lesson learned. Always ask a/s/l (age, sex, location).
