He musn't be that good if your categorizing him in the dogs section, then again, if he is obediant and loyal it would probably be allright.

So you want a puppy. And your boyfriend/husband doesn't want a pet? The only thing I can tell you, seriously, is that you need to talk to him. It will take both of you to love the puppy and train him. And trust me, if you get the puppy and he doesn't want it, the puppy will know it from the start. So to avoid any problems in the future, both has to feel wanted and loved..that means the bf/husband and the puppy..Good luck.

Sounds like infatuation to me, but that's ok. It happens to most of us, if you live long enough. Start talking to him about general stuff. If it's agreeable with everyone, if you have to have permission, invite him for munchy stuff and watch tv. When the time is right, if anything develops, you'll know when to tell him. Down girl.

I'm faced with the same problem and next weekend I'm just going to tell him... but unlike who you are talking about he is not a dog...
