It used to take me 50 minutes to get there, and 75 minutes to get back home....on the same route both ways. Nowadays, it takes me about 45 seconds to drive to work.....seriously. As you can tell, I have a new job. (you may wonder why I still drive if I am that close, but it would take around 10 minutes or more to walk, as opposed to 45 seconds to drive....and I'm not out in the cold.)

At my old job, it took me twenty five minutes to drive from home to the parking garage. I got sick of wasting an hour of my time every day just driving.
My job is 3 miles away from my front door (I know this because I run the route in the summertime), and it takes me 5 minutes on a good day to get to work. Ten if there's a wreck on Main Street.

It takes me an hour and fifteen minutes to get to work (60 miles). It also takes the same amount of time to get home. The commute may vary a little, according to traffic.

lets just say i leave the house at 7 just to make it to work by 8:30, but that also includes dropping off the kids

I don't have to drive at all. I just walk out to my studio. It's about 50 feet from my house.
