if she likes video games then id get her a wii there really cheap $250 and there really fun but it may be hard to find

okay, my daughter is 11 also. So, this is from a mama's point of view. Big things are Bratz. My Scene Barbie. Definately cd's. If you can afford one, there is a mini media player. It holds quite a few songs on it. In the hundreds anyway. It is cheaper than an ipod. You can get that at walmart. Posters of her favorite singers or actors for her room. I got ours a dvd player for her room. Also, if she is into video games, get some of those. Try getting her to try some crafts. Not little kid ones, but there are tons of things more her age now. Like beading bracelets kits. Also, there are fashion designer kits as well, for clothes and interior design. Find things that challenge her mind. Good luck and let me know how it turns out. i would say buy her a nintendo ds that is really addcting game it has a touch sensitive screen so you have to touch the screen to mve it is really cool. and it has wifi so if she plays two player she does not need any wires because all that is built in the nintendo dis lite is way better than the normal ds!!!

Nintendog, or an iPod nano, or a digital camera? it depends on her interests really, there are a lot of nice gadgets out there. maybe a mobile phone? the motorola razr is stylish and affordable.
