It does not seem fair but ALL studies done on this do CONFIRM that good looking people DO have an advantage in life and getting jobs. This has been on 20/20, NBC news, and so on.
But if your looks are not at the same level of others, a great equalizer is CONFIDENCE and personality. You display this and trust me, people will notice you (stand out).

They might for the moment but lets look at how prettier is down the road. If they have skills then maybe their appearance will help them 20 years from now . But look prettier dont always mean they really have an upper hand. Sure beauty is just skin deep. They might have a better job now but let them go a few years and guess what? All that beauty eventually goes down the drain.

One would naturally think this until one looked about the webs singles sites and see the photos of the beautiful ,and well to do people having the same difficulty as others.

sweetie, everyone's perspective on what's pretty and what's not is going to differ from person to person. one person's opinion of what's pretty may not be the same as someone else's. the world would be a pretty boring place if we all looked like cookie-cutter people! and pretty comes from the inside! you just have to be comfortable with who you are. and be confident with who you are. when you show confidence, you'll stand up straighter, look people in the eye when you talk to them, and you'll respect yourself, therefore, other people will respect you too! so be good to yourself, and others. pretty is as pretty does!

No... I'm very beautiful and most people assume I'm stupid, stuck-up, not interested in them, etc. etc I always have to work twice as hard to prove their preconceived ideas wrong.. ;-)
