A few days from now, my parents are coming home from a hectic week long experience and I want to surprise them by cooking them a good dinner/dessert.The problem is, I have little cooking experience and no transportation at the moment so I have to make due with the ingredients I have now. The good news is that the whole dinner is prepackaged :P but the bad news is I have no idea what to make for dessert and I have no prepackaged stuff.
I have the basic ingredients (eggs, milk, butter, sugar, flour, etc) and quite a few spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, etc). I have 5 apples, a bag of chopped pecans, a bag of chopped walnuts, a tub of whipped cream, and condensed milk.... that's about all I can think of ingredients wise.
As far as tastes go... my parents like apples so it would be nice to get a recipe that involves apples but it's definitely not necessary.
Thanks A LOT in advance!!

you could make baked apples!! a favorite of mine.
here's how. wash your apples then cut out the middle (a circle from the top to the bottom but leave the bottom in tact so your stuff doesn't leak out. you can scoop it out with a spoon or cut it with a knife.
do you have any marshmallows? if so, put some (small ones) in the hole. put some sugar and nuts on top and inside. mash it all down in there. put a small pat of butter on top and bake them in the oven on 350 for about 15-20 minutes (depending on how big your apples are) when they are done and cooled a little bit they are ready to eat. go great with ice cream if you have any.

Crustless Apple Pie
Apples, peeled and cut into thin slices (enough to fill a pie plate)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Mix apples, sugar and cinnamon together and place in a pie pan. Then, combine the flour, brown sugar and butter and pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees about 45-50 minutes.
This is easy and especially yummy served warm with vanilla ice cream! Have a fun time with your family!

Drop cookies are really simple to make. You can check out pretty much any cooking website to find easy to follow recipes. Off the top of my head you can melt some baking chocolate, and a stick of butter then add in uncooked oatmeal. You then use a spoon or your hand to make balls or drops of the cookie mix. Let cool then enjoy!

The best dessert, IMHO, is fruit and cheese. Like apples, pears, grapes, and Brie, Camembert, Blue, any soft cheese. Serve plain crackers. Make a pretty platter, give everyone a sharp knife, and serve a light dessert wine or coffee.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 (12-ounce) package Hershey's milk chocolate chips
In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter, salt and powdered sugar until firm. Slowly melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water. You may also melt them in a microwave oven set on high for 2 minutes, stirring halfway through the heating time. Grease the muffin tin cups and spoon some chocolate into each cup, filling halfway. With a spoon, draw the chocolate up the edges of each cup until all sides are coated. Cool in the refrigerator until firm. Spread some of the peanut butter onto the chocolate in each cup, leaving room for the final chocolate layer. Cool the cups again to firm up the peanut butter. Pour some chocolate onto the top of each candy and spread it to the edges. Let sit at room temperature, or covered in the refrigerator. Turn out of the pan when firm.
