Have a new beverage cooler and would like to be sure that it is set correctly.

+ White wines are served chilled and reds are served at room temp.

keep red wine bottles in the pantry and put em in the fridge just 5-10 mins before serving

white wines should stay in the fridge and pull them out 5-10 mins before serving

it's simple, and no need for the perfectly controlled wine fridges

White and blush wines are best served very chilled, it makes them taste more crisp. Reds are best room temp.

I keep only whites and blush/roses in my chiller and I have mine set for high 30's-low 40's.

This website makes a good point in that you can warm a glass of a too cold wine, but what are you going to do with a glass of too warm wine? Put ice cubes in it? bleck!

For the red ones: room temperature.White or rose,fridge temp will be OK.
