GHD's are the best straightners you will find! They are expensive but worth every bit of money!

i had a vidal sassoon and finally splurged and got a chi. it was about $150 with tax ( it was the limited edition breast cancer pink one) but i think you can get the original one for around $120. it is the best money ive spent. i felt guilty at first buying such and expensive straightner but i use it all the time and have definitely gotten my moneys worth. havent used the GHD but i know that my chi is awesome! good luck to you and merry christmas!

GHD is the absolute best. I have incredibly curly hair and it straightens my hair.
Never buy wet to straight straighteners as they are very damaging to your hair.
I use Kerastase, as well as Paul Mitchell and GHD hair products. They are quite pricey but I think the salon used products are usually better than high street products.
GHD can be bought in hair salons and on HQ hair website.

My stepmum has lots of curly hair and swears by GHD. But I think they might be a bit more expensive than you suggested. Try 'Which?' - not sure of website - but they are good for comparisons.
