In exorcisms we see the reality of Satan. So how can you deny the existence of God?

It depends. I personally believe in both Satan and God, but there are those people who look around exorcisms and other things for logical answers and reason. And in turn, believe that there is no Satan, which excludes God, based on what they believe is logical. I can't argue with that; after all I'm pretty open minded, and I know someone like this; logical reasoning. But there is on certain thing; One cannot exist with the other. If you believe in God or Satan, you just have to believe in the other one. They co-exist. So, this could be taken vise-versa, and if you don't believe in God, you most likely don't believe in Satan. It just seems ridiculous to believe in one but not the other; no matter what God you look at, or how you perceive Satan.

I believe the existence of both.

You can't. Good cannot exist without evil otherwise what else would there be? Would you know what sweet tasted lke if you've never tasted bitter or salty? It would all taste the same and there would be no progression. We gain knowledge from knowing good AND evil. We actually progress spiritually when we discern between the good and evil and choose the good. So if there is a Devil, then there is no way someone can believe in the Devil and not believe in God. It just doesn't make any sense.

Denying them both is pretty stupid also. That's just like saying that there is no sun, no Earth, and no human race. Absolutely everything is organized and planned in a perfect order. From our biological functions, to trees, physics, animal physiology, our ability to speak, the sky, the planets revolving in a specific order, gravity itself, atoms, and everything else. It just makes perfect sense. There is no way that anyone should deny the existence of God when absolutely everything testifies of a Divine Creator that planned everything to work the way it does. Order cannot come from chaos. Ever.

It is indeed possible to believe that the god postulated by the Bible is simply a fraud and that the Intelligence (or intelligences) behind the universe run quite counter to the model of Jehovah. Thus, in a society dominated by Judeo-Christian religious models and discourse, such a god would be often be referred to in terms of being a devil. In fact, adopting such a viewpoint for a time might even be useful for the person leaving one of the Abrahamic religions as a sort of unlearning of that spiritual worldview.

All the best,

Laz

well I don't believe in Satan, and I don't know about a god. But if there were a god and Satan, what is god doing??? Isn't Satan the angel who tried to defy god? Why is he allowed to run loose? God does keep tabs on the Lord of Darkness?

I've never seen an exorcism other than in the movies. I assume that they are most likely hysterical panic attacks (or some such) of the victim.

I don't see it as proof of anything.

But, maybe I'm not watching the right movies.

There is no God or Satan. How many exorcisms have you attended?

I apologize but you didn't specify the "reality" of Satan...
Can't we see the reality of alien aircrafts, photographic evidence, video tapes, eye witness reports I don't believe that aliens have come to Earth... should I? Because of the inconclusive evidence to support it? No.

In science we see the "reality" of evolution. So how can you accept the existance of god?

Mr Darwin there is terse but correct. Mental illness is the elephant in the room of religion.
