I was with a man for 16 years that was 15 years younger than me. Our eight year marriage ended due to relationship stupidity, not because of our ages. Expect jokes, expect mother/son, or father/daughter mistakes, and expect people to think it will never last. If you are in it for a short ride, have fun with it. If you think it might really be something, enjoy, get relationship smart, and go for it!

Here's the rule: You get 2 months of leeway for every year of your life. The good news is you get to use the oldest person's age in the couple.

i.e. If you are 24 you can date someone who is 48 months younger (20 years old). If you are 40, you can date someone who is 33. If you are 96 you can date an 80 year old.

This is one of Hammurabi's less known laws.

It all depends if the both parties are in love or like each other very much. Love is blind and doesn't know what age is. SO if you like someone older than you go for it if you feel right about it.

It really depends on your age.

If you are over the age of 18, then its acceptable for you to date any age person you want.

Age is only a number.

Once you pass 25, everyone is middle aged! Age matters a lot less in mid- or later life that it does in the teens and early twenties.

i believe that age is just a number and shoudlnt come between two people that are truly in love. If you love that person dont let that stupid little number stop you from being together.

Depends on what your age is. Are you an adult? If so, 13 is acceptable.
