Hi I am going through this wierd depression and I think I am going insane, I went through this before and was in a coma for 1 to 2 years where I was awake but not all there, I am affraid to end up like that again. I have been going through phycologist and phyciatrist but that doesn't take away the fear of ending up like that again. I went crazy for some time and I drove around my city wondering around and people look different to me when I was at that point like people were something bigger than me. I am ok now but I am really really scared of that. Please help me guys...

No, you cannot go crazy.

It does sound to me as though you may have anxiety.. a symptom of that is "feeling of unreality" it is a true symptom and unfortunately my worst symptom.

I take klonopin and it helps. I think that the biggest thing for you to remember is that you will NOT go crazy.

It may be that you have anxiety and not panic. Mine started as anxiety and I didn't seek help and I did end up with panic attacks. Depression and anxiety do usually go hand and hand.

"Panic disorder is a real illness that can be successfully treated. It is characterized by sudden attacks of terror, usually accompanied by a pounding heart, sweatiness, weakness, faintness, or dizziness. During these attacks, people with panic disorder may flush or feel chilled; their hands may tingle or feel numb; and they may experience nausea, chest pain, or smothering sensations. Panic attacks usually produce a sense of unreality, a fear of impending doom, or a fear of losing control."

You can become mentally exhausted from worrying and being depressed to where it could come to the extremes of comitting suicide...try some different medications that may help you out.

The only thing I can say is talk to your doctors, psychologists, and psycchiatrists...if they dont know how to help you from feeling this way, then I don't know what to tell ya

Make an appointment with your doctors as soon as possible and explain how you are feeling, and they more than likely will start you on a process on trying to figure out how to make you feel better.

Yes , depression can drive you nuts. It's actually the anxiety that is hard on you, and that causes depression. The Dr should be able to put you on something like Effexor, that drug works well with depression and anxiety. Life is to short to go around feeling numb. I hope you get some help and stay well.

How old is she? Sometimes, teenagers will forget what it's like to be part of a family and only want to do her own thing. They may get into trouble, do things they may not normally do, talk back to you, or anything teens do. You could let her do her own thing, or try sitting her down and let her know you miss her being your best friend. Let her know you miss the things you used to do, and such. She may not care, but she may also come around. Some things are out of your control, but talking is a place to start. When she comes home at night to sleep, go in her room and ask what she's been up to. Sound intersted. Try not to sound like her mother, but seem concerned. Hopefully it's just a phase and she'll come back around. I wish you all the luck and I hope you get your best friend back :)

OK. The first thing you should do is think of something you really love and then write a letter to your self on how you feel on that one thing or person and then open it in 2-3 days and see if you feel the same or different. And then play some music to get it off your mind. Thats my idea but i don't know.
Good luck!!!

I definitely think it's possible. I believe the medications they put me on for mine had the most to do with it tho. Now I can't go a night w/o seeing things and thinking people are always trying to kill me...
