Doing a compund exercise such as the squat. I am not a girl but when I started to include squats in my workout routine I noticed my buttocks got firmer.

basically make it a habit to sit on it all day
natural and safe
but there are excecises for that
try pilates
and lifted your legs while your stomach is on a ball

Lay on your stomach with one of those exercise balls. and move your legs up one by one.
