Depends on what your intent is. Are you there to just enjoy cybersex or are you there to see if something can or will develop beyond the cyber world?

It also depends on the person. Some people are more mature and some people aren't. I think the more mature can use cybersex as just harmless fun...like watching pornography. Where as others use it as another way of being sexually deviant.

All in all, it's a grey area that requires one to understand all the factors involved in order to determine the intent in each individual situation.

I would venture to say that cybersex would be the equivalant of self-gratification or masterbation so it probably falls in the fantasy realm not really cheating. maybe try getting your life partner to participate with you while your on-line so you dont feel like your cheating. I think you should just have fun and forget about the guilt. good luck and enjoy!

Cheating!! Cheating!!, Cheating!! How would your spouse feel about it? If you can't share it with him/her then you are cheating.

I know that no one wants to here this but here goes anyway, because it was the first thing that came to my mind.

The Bible say, "that that you do in your heart is sin to you". In other words even though this person is not physicaly touching you, you are dreaming or thinking it, so it is wrong. It would be considered the same as cheating in the eyes of God according to scripture. If it is sin then it is cheating.
Now, if you are doing it with your spouse then no it is not cheating.

Why do you need cybersex if you are already in a relationship you should be trying to make it better and not be on the internet with someone else.

I don't know because I am not sure I under- sand what the heck is going on with it.... I am a Passion Consultant and am pretty open about the use of "toys" in the bedroom, but our sex life is for us, not someone else to be involved!!

Do people talk to each other over the net to get turned on and get off?? Or do they use a web cam or what? Never really "gotten" that!

If I just wanted to "get off" I would grab one of my "little friends" in my closet or wait until my hubby got home.

Not sure what the point is in talking to someone else to excite me..???

So, yeah,....I would be upset if I knew my hubby was watching via cam or talking to someone and getting off with them. I don't know if it is cheating, but I would kick his BUTT!

I consider it just fantasy. It's no more cheating than imagining that your lover is someone else. I've had sex with meg Ryan a few times while my wife was enjoying Tom Selleck! (We didn't tell each other... LOLOL)

I've even done cyber sex. It's rather adventurous.
