Well, i like my best friends sister. Actually, she asked me out today and i told her i would get back with her. I really have strong feelings for her, and my friend said he doesnt care. So, i mean i like her and she likes me, whats the problem?? Well, shes 13, goin on 14 and i am 17. I know that is a big age difference but is it too much?? I always thought she was too young but now my feelings have changed cause i really have gotten to know her and like her. I know they say love knows no age and i really think i love her but is it wrong? What should i tell her? HELP!!!!

It's not so much the age difference that's bad, but the maturity difference....

As the mother of a thirteen year old girl who can't date till she is 16, I think you should sit down with the girl and tell her how you feel about her. There is not that much difference in your ages. I would like a boy like you (if interested in my daughter) telling her your feelings and intentions toward her. I know it can only go one of two ways.1 she feels the same and would like to date you.2 she only wants to be your friend at the moment. You could also wait until you both were older and more mature to handle the feelings you may or may not share to see if things are still the same.

well i dont like the fact that she's almost 14 and your 17 but its 3years difference my mother was 17 when she met my dad and my dad was about 23 or22 maybe a lil older but they have stayed married since for 37 years so things might work out im not saying i like that you're 17 and she's 13 going on 14 but its your and her life so if u wanna go out and your friend doesnt care so be it

i think that she is too young for you. is she in 8th grade? and you're in high school? plus, once you turn 18 it could turn into a bigger problem. you shouldnt get involved. advise her the best thing to do is wait until shes old enough to look out for both of your ends. plus, its hard to be in a serious relationship with someone at a young age, she needs to focus on high school and her future.

Well it wont be good once you turn 18. but i have a friend that has done that, and their relationship was great no matter the age difference. Just be careful once you turn 18. HIGH CAUTION

no offense... but you need to find some girls your own age... its cool that you like her, but... its kinda weird. anyways, you can totally date her if you really like her. its kinda cute in a odd way... so your like... a junior, and shes in 8th grade? ok sorry, but you really can if you actually like her. ask yourself what you like about her. personality? looks?? go ahead and say yes! oh but first, ask your sister how she feels with that
