louis armstrong- what a wonderful world
its good for all ages, old and young. i played this at my sisters wedding, and everyone got up on the dancefloor to dance. even my mother who was having terrible pain from a kidney stone. everyone loves blue skys and the thoughts of red roses. i mean come on? what is a better song than that. or the song L-O-V-E
after all a wedding song is supposed to represent the love they have for one another, right? so i say, what the heck, give it a try. good luck on your homework.
feilds of gold is also a good song. eva cassidy sings it; so does Sting, but i think its better from Eva Cassidy.
over the rainbow works just as well.... can you tell there is a never ending list of songs?
you can go to Singingfish .com to listen to any of these songs. you can either type in the song name, or the name of the artist, it'll show up.

At my wedding my husband and I danced our first dance at our reception to "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain and Brian White. To us this was a great summary of out relationship. We had both felt like we were lost until we found each other. We were also so excited about beginning our wonderful life together. It was symbolic and meaningful to us--the lyrics basically said it all.

this is the song im going to be using for my wedding, it really is a beaustiful song, its (When you say)Nothing At All. Both Boyzone and Alison Krauss have covered it but Im still trying to figure out which I like better cause I love them both. you should give it a listen if you havent already heard it, its perfect.
i love it for the lyirics:
It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word, you light up the dark.
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing.
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes, saying you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand, says you'll catch me wherever ever I fall.
Now, you say it best when you say nothing at all.
All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd.
Try as the may, they could never define,
What's being said between your heart and mine.
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes, saying you'll never leave me.
A touch of your hand, says you'll catch me if ever I fall.
Yeah, you say it best when you say nothing at all.
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes, saying you'll never leave me.
A touch of your hand, says you'll catch me if ever I fall.
Now, you say it best when you say nothing at all...

Truly Madly Deeply... from: Savage Garden... it talks about, how much this girl means alot to him and everything... she's everything to him... his world and so on... all because she's been down for him, she's always there for him no matter what happens, and she so real and everything... I recommend that song to anyone who's in love... you should listen to it... if you haven't heard of it... you'll totally fall in love with this song...
