With nearly 4 Soldiers being killed each day....
There are so many statistics on this site: We are losing 4 of our troops each day. That's approximately 120 a month.
And the number wounded - an average of 450 each month.

And now Bush is going to wait until January to unveil any "new plan", whatever the hell that means. My daughter has a couple of friends who have been deployed there already, and one that is scheduled to go in January. I hate that my kids have grown up through their teen years with so much war. It has definitely affected them and how they look at the world and their future. And I don't know how to make it stop.

We are constantly losing troops each day. That send Bush a message but what does he do? Sends in more troops. For what purpose? So Al-Qeida and Osama can run out of people for suicide bombings? I think by the time this war ends, we will have probably one of the smallest military ever. Every single day at least 1 troop dies and military vehicles are destroyed. To be honnest, Iraq was better when they had Saddam. There were some violence and wrong doing. Today Iraq is almost in a CIVIL WAR! It is complete chaos. It's just not our troops being killed. Iraq's troops are also being killed and their leaders. What we should really do is stabalize their army. Get enough people to join it so it won't erupt into a Civil War. Then deal with the insurgents.

Remind them that our country needs to police the world, because nobody else has the balls to do it. Israel is gonna be a nailbiter here pretty soon, and Somalia is about to face off against rebel factions of Islam. Tell them its now or never, we cant stay idle while others talk about killing our friends, or actually do it.
If the US wont stop Iran, who will...they wanna kill people for nothing!
This has been brewing a very, very long time...and I'm afraid for our youths too....because everything will boil over sooner or later, and we will know war again. Thats the long and short of it.

Funny thing is: This ALL has been written and said to come to pass. Well...its pretty close so-far with what Edgar Cayce said.

I agree, I am 15 and I now realize going to Iraq was not needed, and we should have worried about Afghanistan and the people who bombed us like Bin Laden

I still think the middle east should worry about themselves, that is y i think oil is a major factor in this war

but still, better to fight islamic terrorists in baghdad then boston

The Iraq civil war is just starting and the whole region could get drawn into it. I just hope we can get our guys out of the way and stop taking casualties for nothing.

i dont think that you should only consider the American Casualties. This is rediculous. Hundreds of thousands of INNOCENT iraqis have died acording to statistics taken by professors at Harvord and Johns Hopkins.
