That is true. Corn is considered a "starchy" vegetable due to its high carbohydrate content. BUT popcorn itself is relatively low carb and high in fibre, which is good.

3 cups of popcorn has about 15 grams of carbs, the same amount in 1 slice of bread.

Air popped popcorn without butter can be a very healthy treat.

You still need to eat your veggies though! ;)

Nope popcorn is made from corn which is a starch not a vegetable.

I say yes! but i am not an expert. Sounds funny to have popcorn as a side dish to say meatloaf!
