i need to go to an oral surgeon to get like 5 teeth out so he is goin to put me to sleep and im scared is this goin to hurt?

you'll be asleep and won't feel a thing until you wake up and the medication wears off...but they'll give you pain pills for that.

Very important reminder-
Do not smoke or or drink through a straw for at least 5-7 days after your teeth have been pulled. If you do you can easily get a condition called "dry socket" which is very painful and will cause your recovery period to be much longer.
Just follow all your dr's orders and you will be fine!

Going to sleep wont hurt. It will be the surgery sites that hurt afterwards. Do exactly what he prescribes and you should do A.O.K. - Oral health is just as important and seeing your regular doctor. Let him know you are afraid and he might give you a tranquilizer to take about an hour before your appointment. This should lessen your anxiety.

He should put you to sleep. It will hurt when you wake up, but you should be given a prescription for painkillers. You will do just fine!
It's a good reason to live on ice cream for a couple of days. :)

You can't save any of them with root canals? (I've tried like crazy to keep my teeth.) You'll be put to sleep, it won't hurt then, and be sure to put ice packs on your face and to take pain meds that he will prescribe for you.

Oh hell yes for a couple of days. Take the pain meds you get, you're in for a nice weekend. Don't worry, it will get better.
