I think that many christians and religious people can logically think for themselves but they are fed this christianity slop from wee children with threats of hellfire and brimstone that its hard for them to actually think ligically - but their logic is demostrated when people claim to be Jesus or when women claim to be virgins and pregnant and then these peopel come out and are the first to put these people down as nonsense. why is it nonsense - Jesus said he would come back and if god can impregnate a peasant girl with his only son to free the world of sin and could in all possibility do it again but throughour the history of this world any person who has actually claimed to be a carrier of gods son or to be Jesus has been locked away from stone castles to psych wards - the truth is they dont actually believe it.
Also you are right why did God not send his angels to the leaders of the world because at taht time 2000 years ago Islam and Bethelam and that part of the world was the only world known so in a fact all was required from the makers of the Jesus CHrist chinese wisper is sending him and gradually this view has had a big control on the world. I am not saying Jesus CHrist did not live - he most pronbably did and he earnt his living the best way he and others knew how - by preaching.
I am not a christian and I resent my son going to "camps and having religious people tell him he is a sinner and that he has to forever greatful to jesus - my son is 4 years old - what sin can a child do but this brainwashing is considered ok - If I told him he was a sinner and not worthy I would be up for child abuse.
And the answer to your question that people are leaving christian churches simply because they are thinking for themselves and the concepts of the bible that suited uneducated people are no longer meeting needs, so people are leaving churches. My view is that the world is so complex , that christian religion and anyohter fundamental fanatical concept is not appropriate.

Can I answer your questions in reverse order? First, be assured I can think for myself. So can lot's of Christians. Some of us are quite intelligent and some of us even have a sense of humour!
Second, yeah, I get fed up with all these religions too. Why all the bickering and in-house fighting? Best ignore the religions and focus on what it is they are supposed to be concentrating on, namely God's word, the Bible.
Which addresses the point you made about why didn't God write a do and don't book. He did. Full of good advice like don't commit murder, don't lie, don't go to bed with someone else's wife etc, etc. Pity hardly anyone seems to pay attention to it though. World would be a much better place if we followed Jesus' example of loving one another, helping the poor, standing up for the oppressed, etc.
Why didn't God send his angels to the leaders of the world? Well, if they wouldn't listen to Jesus, the top man, they certainly wouldn't listen to a mere deputy. Look at what they did to Jesus, God's son - they nailed him to a tree. Hadn't they heard the expression "Don't shoot me, I'm only the messenger?" I'm afraid it shows mankind up in a very bad light.
However, it's not all gloom, doom and despondency. Although most of mankind doesn't want to hear what God has to say to us, he's very patient. Why don't you ask him to show you the path? You might be pleasantly surprised at what he would like to share with you.

My understanding is that Jesus had to be a perfect human has Adam was a perfect human. Adam along Eve had the chance to live for an eternity on Earth but because the disobeyed God they were both punished. There is a prophecy in Genesis referring to the coming Messiah just after God had spoken to Adam and Eve and told them of their punishment.
Then all through the old testament (Hebrew / Aramaic Scriptures) we read about sacrifices to God, whether it be a sheep, or a goat or a bull..etc. These all represented the greater sacrifice of what is to come in the form of Jesus.
Jesus was a sacrifice...a perfect human sacrifice. When Jesus died the old Mosaic law came to an end and the sacrificing of animals was no longer needed.
He died on Nisan 14th so that those that had faith could live.
Jesus was special because he was the first creational act of God. If you read Genesis carefully you will read words such has 'Let us make man in our image' which suggest that there was someone there with God at the time of creation. That someone was Jesus. God referred to him has his ' beloved son'
Worship of God is done via Jesus. He is a medium between man and God.
Anyway...what do I know...I do not practice any religion, nor am I religious or believe in God. It is just the way I understand the Bible.

God designed us to make our own decisions freely. That's why it doesn't make sense to force us to do good.
God cannot be reached by anyone who isn't 'good'. It's just the way of nature - like oil and water. So to reach God and enjoy our lives in the way we were designed/created to be, we had to be good (note the past tense).
If you think about what 'good' means, doing good always involves a sacrifice and if that sacrifice is not freely given, then the deed is not good - it is coerced. Like holding a gun to someone's head.
Love means giving to someone else just because they are human, whether they are good or bad, and at our own expense. That's why it's not easy. Giving someone a present because they're going to give one of equal or more value back again isn't being good (or love) - it's just a trade.
Unfortunately, except for just a few, we turned out to be pretty useless at sacrificing. Although on the whole, most people do have the INTENTION of being good, somehow, it just doesn't happen. This is why God's plan had to include an escape clause - a way out of the rut. By sending Jesus to die as a representative of our deaths, and to be resurrected as a representative of our resurrection, we're able to be redeemed out of our own inability to sacrifice. There's nothing that we need to do anymore other than to want to be good. It's not possible to understand this but many people have had an experience which makes it believable.
Warning: This is not theology - it's my belief.

The Passover teaches the need for blood atonement(whether you like it or not)it teaches the lamb must be perfect. An atonement is a covering, like writing a check.Jesus was the Hard Money to cover he check.Only a perfect preson could shed his blood and since only God is perfect He had to die.But how could He die if He is God?Jesus says God is Spirit,we certainly can't nail that to a cross. That's why Jesus took on human flesh. That's the importance of the Virgin birth. No male blood to carry Adam's sin curse.Besides in Jerimiah it states that the line of Solomon(Joseph's line) is cursed from taking the throne through Jeconiah(Coniah)so Joseph couldn't be His father,Jesus couldn't claim to be King, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.Jesus did this voluntarily,He emptied most of His deity to relate to man,and the only thing He regretted was that He had to take Sin onto His Sinless self("Take this cup from me,nevertheless not as I will but as you will"Jesus prayed)Real Christianity is a relationship between God and man.Religion is mans attempt to vainly reach up to God through ritual.Paul said "Believe on the Lord and you Will be saved".

Are you questioning the judgment and authority of God Himself? He alone makes the correct and appropriate decisions. How can you not believe with all the necessary proof there has been provided? Isaiah 53 prophecizes about Jesus and Psalm 22 prophecizes about the crucifixion. They are very accurate to what happened. They were written hundreds of years before Jesus was even born. How is this blind faith?

Jesus the Son of God.
God sent his Son Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice. What is more sacrificial than giving up your sons life to save the lives of the world? This is trying to show the compassion and love he has for us now and did it all for us.

I and the Father are one Jn 10:30
"Jesus said to them, But whom do you say I am? Simon Peter answered and said; Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God".
Mt 16:15-16
Jesus proved He was the Messiah through the many miracles He performed. A miracle can only be performed through an act of God. God does not perform a miracle in favor of a lie. His greatest miracle is His resurrection from the dead.
His prophecies have already been fulfilled include: those about His Passion, death, and Resurrection, denial by Peter, betrayal of Judas, the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the persecution of His followers, the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem, the preaching of the Gospel throughout the whole world.
Merry Christmas.
I thought to say this to you myself. God Bless you!

The Bible tells you that Jesus was the name Pontius Pilate used for his Hoax of the Crucifixion of Two Thieves who were not listed for crucifixion that day and who should have been enjoying roasted lamb cutlets in their cells when they were secretly removed and prepared for crucifixion under the code-name "Jesus".
Your info is the usual Christian confusion from the Braille Version of the Bible.
Jesus were two thieves who surprised the Gospels with their inclusion only after they arrived at Golgotha and the crosses were raised for all to see, for their presence was kept secret all along.
On no cross was there any other name but "Jesus" and if the Christ was the King of the Jews then Christ would have been inscribed on the Cross, but three Gospels tell you that the Christ bore no cross, and if Christians worship the Christ then they would have insisted on the name "Christ" as King.
The crucifixion of two thieves was Rome's reward to the Biblical Jews for their insane thirst for innocent blood for which they were made to accept the blood of two thieves on themselves and on their children, and then the Christians drink of the blood as well.
