i'm a sea bee and we construct and repair things on the ships and around the base. so you need to be good at math and have a skilled trade under your belt ex. welder plumber ect. you also need to graduate at the top of your class at A school so they will send you to C school and not to basic training. Go to your recruiter and ask information on the navy journeymen program. you can e-mail me if you have anymore questions. jennanderton2006 that is an outrageous statement that you obviously aren't qualifed to make.

After Navy basic training you either get sent to Port Hueneme for either "A" school (Basic instruction in your job field) or to Camp Pendleton for basic field combat training. There really is no special training before boot camp you can do other than exercise so you can run the 1.5 mile better, push ups and curl ups. The recruiting office can get you the PRT requirements for the Navy with a age and gender breakdown.

do you know what the Sea Bees do? they build things, so you have to have some expertise in skilled trades.
