I met this girl the other day and she gave me her cellphone number. She noticed that i entered it in my cellphone the wrong way by accident. She made a point to correct me so that i would have her correct number. I mentioned this resturaunt to her, and she was like maybe we can go there. So far so good. I call her only a few days later and leave a voice message for her to call me when she can. This was on Saturday, and now it's Tuesday, and she still has not returned my call. BTW... i did leave her my phone number. Should i wait until thursday, and if i don't hear from her by then give one more call? Do you think she blew me off, or could she be thinking about if she still wants to go out with me or not? I don't want to seem too desperate, so how is the best way to handle this? Thanks!!

Yes, definitely give one more call - but let her know that it is the last call - and if she wants to get together to call you back. Dont put it on her, just say that you don't like to leave more than two messages because you dont want to be too pesky (or some cooler word - 'stalkerish'? - I dunno, something like that). Blame yourself, say that you are shy....
But then leave it at that! If she's trying to flake on you, then she will not call you back - and c'est la vie, in that case... life sux and then you die (or on a more optimistic note - there's lots of fish in the sea, and the girl who likes you will not need to be chased..)
And dude - dont you dare go trippin on yourself about how fast or slow you called her. If i liked a guy I would be thrilled that he meant it when he said he wanted to call - and then did so. 3 months later and I'd blow him off, but 3 days later? Dude, you are fine.

what you should do is wait . for you have cast your net now if you bring it in too soon there will no fish. if you wait there may be some fish and if you were to just leave it there forever you would have no fish and you net would be too tangled to repair,
the girl is at this time waiting until wednesday or even thursday to return your call. this is done so that she appears to have other options or other suiters waiting.
you should wait until thursday after noon after 3 pm and then if possible bump into the girl talk briefly about the weather then if she has not mentioned your request ask her if she recieved your call regarding the date request.
the girl may say yes or no she really should say yes unless she really didnt get it . she may however require more details as to the time the place the lenght and if it will be a single date or less formal date with others in attendance.
once you have provided all the details that she could require it is her responsbility to reply in a clear well mannered way yes or no.
or request a change to the date time or place.
failure on her part to meet the social rules should indicate that she is not a suitable young lady for you to invest yourself.
if she does reply that she is unable to go out or join you on that date then thank her for her time. if she provdies no further reason for the refusal then wait a period of 2 weeks before asking again .
if she states she will not be able to join you then . leave the matter alone for a peroid of not less then 2 months or better still leave the matter all together and remove her name from your cell phone and social circle.

It hard to figure girls out. I get digits all of the time and most of them don't pan out. A day or two is perfectly fine for a first call. The three to four day call is too predictable. I would wait it out until thursday. Give one more call. If you think your going to get the answering machine again. You could first block your number and then call, if your lucky enough she will answer the phone. But i don't think girls like to recieve calls from blocked or private numbers though. Maybe they can chime in on that one for you.

Exactly -- don't seem desperate ...so don't call her, at all.
You tried calling her once, and she didn't return your call. She obviously got your phone call. Girls are forgetful sometimes, and someone she just met is probably not her number one priority in life. She will call you if she is into you...
Sometimes, girls lead guys on...I am a girl so I think I will tell you the truth about this. Sometimes girls want guys to have their numbers for the attention of getting a call from a guy... If she doesn't call you back, she is not into you...or on the bright side, maybe she is busy with something or lost her phone or something..
Good luck...seriously...I know that it can be hard waiting on someone to call you, but to not seem desperate, you have to.

Pretty girls give their phone numbers to guys all the time. Out of experience, pulling a phone number is MUCH easier than having her call you back. Don't worry about it. I wouldn't call her back, there will def be someone else.
In her defense its hard for girls too. They don't want to call you back immediately, but after a while it becomes awkward to make a phone call because you already have the idea that she "blew you off" that she doesn't want to deal with. Theres a narrow window for her to call you back in, and if you're unlucky she'll be real busy during it and you will be out of luck. Next time will be better :D

It happened to me some 2 weeks ago.
She did not pick the phone when I called her.
She did not reply to my sms.
Now I forget about her. No way to lose time....
If you do call her and because you are so desperate means you are looking for trouble.
Say, she call you back and end up being friends. She will continue to play with you like that and can you bear that. I think better leave her right now. A girl who likes you will want to be with you, she will call you and not run away. She will miss you when you are not with her. She will talk to you. She will listen to you. So?? What do you want?

Sounds like she MIGHT have changed her mind. I've done that, it's nothing personal. You're probably really cute and she was really flattered, but then realized she's not ready to get involved with anyone right now and doesn't know how to tell you in person.
NOTHING can stop me from calling a guy I really want to see and I would NOT lose his number. Call her one more time, if you wish, just to be on the safe side, and then drop her like a bad habit if she doesn't call you back.

Call her ONE more time. If you don't hear back then move on. Thursday should be a perfect time - far enough in between calls that way.

Just wait if she took the time to correct your mistake she will call you maybe she is busy or her brother didnt giver the message

she i'm the type of girl where if i give a boy my number i feel that if he really interested in me he'll call me that same day or at least the next day, you messed up when you waited a few days to call her, you should've just called her that day or the next.
