There are tons of files, I was resorting to trying to copy one by one but that's way too slow. Should I be using dos? If so what are the commands?

well sry to say but im pretty sure ur out of luck just try buring the cd over again or ull just have to resort to copying the files. I dont know why u cant just select all the files that work and drag them to where u want and just leave the bad ones on the CD

Problems reading and writing CDs are common. In many cases, the problem cn be solved by checking the PC with free software, hardware modifications and cleaning the CD drive. I found the information at http://fixit.in/cdrdrive.html useful.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

try a differant data transfer tool.
