First, the word "Seed" is singular. Seed represents a lineage. So it is a prophecy of messianic line. Second, a woman does not have a seed, a woman has an egg. So messiah would be identified by His birth via a virgin. You can also see that this Seed would have His heel bruised (as in crucifixion) and such an event will crush the head of the serpent (the devil).

There is no real battle between God and the Serpent. The Serpent (or the devil) is only equal to the angels of God. That Messianic prophesy was about the woman who will bear her child who is supposed to be the leader of a chosen nation but later will be tempted to go against God and will be for the second time deceived by the devil whom will become his father. As the fruit in the center of Eden was used to deceive Eve, it is the authority over the kingdoms of the earth which was offered to him. That child may have thought that he has crushed the devil's head while he did not notice that the devil have stricken his heels. If you have the understanding you will know it. I fairly believe l'chaim, (of the Jews in this submit) because we would want to continually help the Jews carry peace on the earth, yet i do not imagine which will be achievable with out humbling ourselves. Even Messiah has had to humble himself (mockingly) by baptism, lack of existence and worshipping and kneeling before our Father. Our Messiah is acquainted with that being righteous before G-d isn't something with out humility before G-d. that is why i believe Yeshua replaced into/is the Jewish messiah, because He did not take from all people with guns of warfare, yet He replaced into one with God because He replaced into humble and gave. If issues are achieved with violence purely because we are good, or because we favor to take eternal justice into our fingers and assume there to be peace on the earth, then we are no longer one with G-d and we can't see our salvation. We ought to love eachother, even our enemies, purely as Messiah taught us... i do not see any incorrect way of somewhat making peace. P.s. how will we be somewhat righteous before G-d (one with Him) if we do not humble ourselves and worship before Him? in the different case... we will be turning our worship inward in the route of ourselves and that is pride which seperates us from our acceptable G-d. ought to our Messiah do any a lot less??

And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring [a] and hers;
he will crush [b] your head,
and you will strike his heel."

Jesus is often reffered to in scriptures as the seed of the woman (becuase He was born of a virgen). Jesus will cush Satan's head (Romans 16:19) through his death and ressurection, while Satan will temporarily bruise Jesus' heel (One's heel was highly bruised while hanging on a cross).

Yes, it is the first prophesy of the Messiah. It has been called the Protoevangelium (first gospel) since the first Christian centuries.
