My girlfriend has a guy friend. He is a mechanic and they hang out all the time. I came home today and they were watching TV and he had one clean finger.

Whoa!!!. You’re leaving some details out of this equation. How long have they known each other? How long have you guys been together? Have they been spending all of their time together since the beginning of your relationship or has this been happening in the past few months? How comfortable are you about asking your significant other if she is cheating or not, or do it the old fashion way and investigate. To me I would be a little suspicious, but that just leads into paranoia when you don’t deal with things upfront. If you’re uncomfortable let her know. Don’t beat around the bush about it and don’t be some barbaric crazy boyfriend either. To be honest, I’ve had a hard time trying to keep my male friends as JUST my friends in the past. I think somewhere in life they lost their brain cells, and they try to push up on me. I notice that happened when I would bit** too much about my relationship too them or if I was single at the time. Whatever is going on don’t get too f***ed up about the situation. If you are a good catch and she is too stupid to realize it, keep in mind that she can be replaced, and on the other hand maybe things are purely innocent.

lol, I'm sorry . . . it took me a sec to figure out what a clean finger had anything to do with it. . . . lol

Ok, to answer your question, it depends on your relationship with your girlfriend. I have 100% faith in my fiance, he has never given me a reason to doubt him. So, if I knew he had a friend who was a girl, and they were hanging out . . . I don't think it would bother me. Now, if this friend was a new friend, and I sensed some other motives (by either the girl or the guy) I would talk to my fiance.

If it bothers you, you have every right to talk to her . . . but not accuse her. I would trust your gut. I don't think you're being silly for wondering. But I do wonder, how did you notice the clean finger? Were you looking for clues? Because if you were looking for clues, you may find some that aren't what you think . . .

Good luck :)

There aren't enough details here. How clean was this finger? **** & Span clean? Or just a little cleaner than the others? Either way, it doesn't sound like you trust her so maybe you being in a relationship isn't a good idea. Trust is everything.

Good luck.

Even though that one clean finger might have been just a random, but em.....what a good observation!!!!!

I have a lot of good guy friends and that we hang out a lot, we are only friends though. But it is a grey area. You might want to observe them again next time. Don't jump into a conclusion just yet.

If I was you I'd have whipped his azz and kicked her azz out on the street. you don't need a sneaky girl spending your money eating your food and banging some guy behind your back get rid of her. I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT DUDE WOULD YOU JUST BE HANGIN WIT SOME CHICK IF YOU WASN'T GETTIN NONE? OR TRYING TO? ALRIGHT THEN I MADE MY POINT

You need to talk to her about your feelings . DONT YELL AT HER though. That will only make it worse. calmly approach her about it . If you stay calm and she starts getting defensive . DONT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. Get all the info first then make a rational decision.

haha ouch. I think its suspicious. having friends is cool but idk. keep a watch on them two. maybe set up video in the room where they would usually go. then if something happens when she denies it you can come back with proof. i love doing that
