I am on Wellbutrin XL, and I should be on 150 mg, but that prescription is in the mail, and all I have to hand is 300 mg, which gives me unpleasant side effects...

I can't split Wellbutrin XL in half, because it is a timed release, and if I chopped it, I would get way too much medicine in the morning, and none in the afternoon.

Is ANYONE reading the DETAILS!!!! You can't chop the 300 mg in half because it is a timed release! If it were just a regular pill, I would be chopping it, but I can't!

Is the 150 mg.wellbutrin XL, the same as the 300mg. except the strength. If so cut the 300mg in half and take it . 300mg. is enough to make you have unpleasant side effect. CUT THE 300 IN HALF.

Cut it in half! If you can't do it yourself with a knife, go to your local drug store and they have pill cutters for a couple bucks.

Break / Cut them in half...

Call your prescribing physician and ask him what to do.

If I were a doc I'd say take none rather than too much.

Call a pharmacist (or your doctor?) and ask for advice.
