One tin chopped tomatoes
One jar plain Passata (tomatoes sauce to the yanks)
One purple onion
One pepper (any colour)
Half bag of Quorn mince (or actual mince)
5-6 good sized mushrooms
Chilli powder (red pepper)
Paprika
Garlic powder
Mixed herbs
Salt and pepper
Grated Parmesan

Takes about 20 mins including preparation.

Finely chop pepper and onion, fry until tender. Add Passata, tinned tomatoes and Quorn mince. Chop mushrooms and throw them in too.

Add sprinkling of chilli powder, sprinkling of paprika, a good sprinkling of herbs and a very generous sprinkling of garlic powder – I use tons (or lots of fresh garlic if you prefer – fry with pepper and onion). Salt and pepper to taste, more salt than pepper. Mess about with different amounts to get the flavour you like.

Simmer on medium heat.

Put water for pasta on to boil, when pasta is done the sauce usually is too! Serve and top with parmesan cheese.

Since this is the only dish I can make well, all my visitors get this for dinner. If you want to make this a bit more fancy for guests, fry vegetables in olive oil and add some red wine, it’s really good!

I enjoy cooking: meatloaf with the grape tomatoes sliced thin within the loaf along with a little tomato juice, bread crumbs and onions.
Macaroni and cheese with jalepeno cheese and extra sharp cheddar (the orange).
Grands buscuits and tossed salad.
Cranberry juice or sparkling water.
Dessert: brownies with walnuts. Yummie

I usually make this once a month on a Sunday.
During the week I enjoy quick and easy recipes from Krafts Foods.

I hope this helps.

Enjoy

Hands down the quick and easy spaghetti with or without ground turkey onions garlic colored bell peppers crushed tomatoes a little spinach and just a little salt and pepper. Garlic toast either get the loaves from the store or if you just use regular bread. And don't forget the salad.

OR I just chop up some potatoes with the skins on it and roast them with garlic and salt and pepper -- and serve with bowls of sour cream, butter, various shreaded cheeses, chives, chilli, bbq sauce with or without ground turkey, diced tomatoes, etc..... sort of like a baked potatoe with whatever everyone wants on it AND don't forget the salad!
