It is not psoriasis. It's like big pieces of dry scalp. The scalp has an odor. I have tried all of the dandruff shampoos and something called t-gel. The odor wont go away. The odor has been there for a couple of months.

U need to get some clear antibacterial liquid soap and wash your scalp good and rinse under heavy tub water making sure all the bubbles are out.
What mainly causes dandruff is shampoo dries to scalp.
Try olive or baby oil soaks in your hair if u get dandruff.
Remember the rinse well method to prevent dandruff.

my dr and hair dresser said cradle cap from not rinsing well. they said to scratch hard when washingand try shorter hair until it clears. it worked i've already grown it out to my rear and chopped it again. i believe it was because i had thick hair and sweat mostly through my head and face. as for oils i do believe that it made it worse in my case.

Sounds like you sebaceous or sudoriforeous glands are over active. sort of like cradle cap. Ask a dermatologist what to do.

You might want to go to a dermatologist for that. He or She will be best suited to help you with your condition.

Your condition sounds serious. I would go as soon as I can because it may cause you to loose your hair.

Hope I helped.
