I was offerd an update by microsoft in the past couple of days, which I downloaded. My entire windows screen now looks different and I cannot find how to print....I no longer see "preferences" for printing....I hate this...HELP

Do you mean that you updated internet explorer?
If so, click on the little down arrow (upside down triangle) next to the new print button (just to its right) and select "Print...". You will then see your preferences button.

i'm not sure what u updated but your going to have to find the update on your pc and delete. you can start by looking in "control panel" "add remove programs" , if don't find it there, your going to have to look in your hardrive windows, that may take some time finding it,....good luck
