I am thinking of starting a career as a flight attendent! So I was wondering if anyone who is in that field have any comments on their job. Do you like it or not and why? What are advantages and disadvantages of being a flight attendent?

I am a flight attendant. I work for a major carrier. It is tough and also rewarding and challenging. Your not just a "waitress on a plane". Your main job is to keep everyone safe while on the plane. In flight attendant school, you learn, policies and procedures, emergency situation, plane evacuations, and learn how to use medical equipment. You have to be very outgoing and not shy. You have to be a doctor, psychologist, a waitress, a safety director, and many more things. It is not for the meek or the weak.

If you do decide that you want to become one, then make sure you find out where you want to move because you will be going out of the airlines Hubs. Like Mesa has their hub in Phoenix. Continental has their hubs in Newark, Houston and Cleveland

Go to their website and apply...Good Luck!
