I like to ask someone if they consider that they might be wrong about there religion. If they say yes there somewhat open minded. If they say N0. I know they are completely brain washed. I think there is no hope for people like that. I think they would accept that God is speaking to there Priest if he tells them so. These are the people who will strap on explosives and walk into a mall in the name of God/allah. Without even thinking about it.

Ps: I know i might be wrong about being an Atheist. I still think mine is the most reasonable choice.

I agree... I think its impossble for anyone to be 100% SURE of anything pertaining to God or gods or anything spiritual. Whether you believe in God or not, we cant prove He is, and we cant prove He isnt. Most of us though have life experiences that have convinced us one way or another and I dont think other people's experiences should ever be discounted. They COULD be lying but why?

Anyway, whether someone is Atheist, Christian or otherwise, I think there has to be some "brainwashing" to believe what you believe 100%

Blind faith, in my opinion is having the complete trust and confidence in believing in something that you can't see or touch but knowing that it's there. It's having faith when all may think negatively about the matter.
In some cases, I can understand why someone may disagree in the term because life teaches us to only believe in what you can see and attain gaurenteed. And when someone only believes in just that...what exactly are you living for. Dreams and goals are closely related to blind faith. Its believing in something thats not there and hoping for it to become attainable.
Don't take any offense to this, but being an atheist is basically being a pessimist towards life in entirely.
In response to people walking around with explosives in the name of a higher being, I think that in those cases people have been trained to think a certain way. They haven't developed a mind of their own. Those type of people who listen then immediately take action without consideration are brain washed. They def need psychiatric help. Don't blame God.

well I am not sure how to answer you. Who does God speak too? All His people they need only listen. Do people always listen to His voice? I do not think so. Could they be listening to a false spirit thinking it is God? Very probable. Blind Faith is something I do not have. I hear God clearly. I know that it is Him. Do I listen to priest and religious teachers hmmmm I listen- I also check what they say for truth in my bible. Most teachings do not sit right with me. I am very skeptical. I listen to the voice of the Lord. He teaches me right from wrong. I listen to no human teachings that go against the teachings of the bible. To me being brain washed or blind- is just that following what someone else wants you to follow Blindly-without being able to see.

I do not see a question about "blind faith", so I will answer the abstraction. Anything you believe unquestioningly is "blind faith". This can include atheism - atheism being the belief (without any supporting empirical evidence) that there is no god.
This is the difference between science and faith - science is about falsification, and any good scientist is always ready to deal with evidence that what he/she believed yesterday is wrong.

I think that your argument is good enough but its not how I would see "Blind faith".

I see it as following a religion (or deciding not to follow a religion) without studying your faith -or/and- at least looking at one or two others. Otherwise you are just following, what? Maybe what you are told to follow. So if you are just following something because someone told you to, does that really make it true belief?

I agree with you. I might be wrong, but it is what I choose to believe. I will not tell other people they are burning in hell. Personal beliefs are a person choice. The only reason any of us believe the way we do is faith.

Blind faith, to me, is accepting something because you are told it is true, without considering for yourself whether there is any evidence of its truth or whether it is even reasonable to believe. Blind faith is not limited to religious people and faith issues. I believe it is dangerous in all cases. Ignorance is never a virtue.

Only a few are perfect regarding what religion they are. I don't believe in blind faith.

But I see God with my spiritual seeing eyes, so I don't call that blind Faith. I believe in my Heavenly Father & my Lord Jesus Christ with my reborn spirituality & Holy Spirit.

Did you know that when you have faith in God it means that your are hearing spiritually & your soul is tuned in. Faith comes from hearing and hearing a word about Christ / God.

Faith=believing without seeing or the necesity to percieve

This the problem with science; there are just somethings that scientist can not put in their beakers and tubes. So at that point you have to just go off of faith that what you've been told is true. You can still "test" or validate what the person or persons said is true or not; just not is the way scientist want to

believing without seeing is not a bad thing; children do it almost all the time. They have to trust that what their parents are telling them is true becuase they dont know everything. If children didnt do this,if they didnt have faith; their would be chaos in every family.

I would say blind faith is having faith in man, not God.

When a person has a testimony, or has received an answer to prayer about their religious beliefs/questions, then they come to know what faith actually is. It is only after faith that miracles come. You have to believe in something first, God is not just going to say "well I know you didn't ask or anything but here's your answer." We must come to him first, humble ourselves and be sincere, then the answers will come.
