Hopefully the hurt is not physical. If it is, then all I can say is run! But if the hurt isn't physical, then you have to choose whether or not you are willing to work things out with them (if they are still in the picture), or if the hurt was just that bad that you can't be with them anymore.

If you decide you can't be with them anymore, then time is really the only thing that will help ease the pain. And try to look at the situation as a learning experience, rather than reliving the hurt and anger. By learning experience I mean that now you know the type of person that you DON'T want to be involved with. Sometimes experience is the best teacher.

Best of luck!

Well, you can stay and continue getting hurt or you can leave him and sooner or later you will get over it. There are a lot of fish in the sea.

What you do is get help to figure out why you don't require those close to you to respect and honor you. You may need therapy. You don't have to live that way--in fact, it's bad for your long term health and certainly affects your self-image. Help is available.

Stay away from them for starters.Secondly,Stop asking your friends about them, etc. And,third, start your life over completely and make a vow to yourself that your "new" life will be ("his name here")-free.If you pine for him, he will get the message that you don't think you are worth anymore than the way he treats you, which according to you is pretty shi**y.
