Yes, in many ways these things are. However, when I was your age I tried it too. It was gross. I rinsed for over 15 minutes and my hair still smelled for 2 days. The shine is not worth the lingering scents.

They're not really nutritious for your hair since hair is basically "dead". However, they both make good conditioners and will soften and shine dry, damaged hair. Try putting mayo on your hair and leaving it for 30 minutes before washing and rinsing with your regular shampoo. If you have an oily scalp, avoid the scalp area.

it is true, but for it to be really effective, you need to leave it on with a cap or something for like 30-40 mins and then wash it out. with warm water and some cleansing shampoo to break down the oil of the mayo.

i don't know about washing it with mayo but using it as a deep conditioner works miracles i on occasion use it once a week as a deep conditioner and let it set for about an hour with a shower cap/or plastic shopping bag and my hair is so shiny and silky and not greasy and you can rinse it with apple cider vinegar hope this helps and remember treat your hair like the beautiful silk that it is

I can not believe that this works. It makes your hair softer but the outcome of the smell will be bad. I think that a special shampoo call Garnier Fructis will work for frizzy damaged hair and it also smells good. Good luck with that.

yes...but only do that if you do not have enough money to by a good conditioner.....
if you do not rinse the egg out properly...once it dries it will harden and start to flake
mayo will leave your hair greasy and give you a bad odor
but yes they will do your hair some good!
believe me...i am a professional.....get you a good conditioner....preferably...i like "The Conditioner" by Paul Mitchell.....get you some of that , apply it to your hair when it is clean and dry....saturate ur entire hair and then wrap it with a plastic bag....leave it on for about an hour and then rinse.......if you don't have an hour to spare....get your hair dryer and apply heat to your wrapped hair for about 5 to 10 minutes then let it cool ....then rinse......u will have some soft silky, healthy looking hair!
