i've been in love with this girl for like 2 years. she tootally hates me (despite that she does talk to me regularly, sometimes acting annoyed sometimes not). what can i do to get her not to hate me? she says its because i try to hard and im stupid and im a jerk. i really do care for her i just dont know how to show it.

Well, if she says you try too hard, that might mean that you're always the one to talk to her. If you are, just stop. If you're always in her face when she doesn't want you to be, she's gonna get annoyed. Just wait until she talks to you and then don't do anything that she would think is annoying. Maybe she'll stop hating you this way, if you don't give her anything to hate. You can act like you're not interested in her anymore (and maybe you shouldn't be interested)... if she likes you, she'll start talking to you.

No matter what you do or how wonderful you may be everyone is not always going to like you. You can't do anything about it so stop trying!
She is being pretty clear as to what she thinks of you (stupid and a jerk), pay attention. If she treats you this way I can't imagine why you think you "love her"??? You must be insecure to feel this way, you deserve much better.
Successful relationships are built on love and respect, obviously, she has no love or respect for you - move on!

Wow, that is tough. If you really love her though, let her have some space. Don't be too clingy, and try to be as charming and funny as you can. Sometimes if a girl says you are annoying, than can mean she likes you. It depends though. Good luck!

Lifes a *****. You like them, they don't like you. They like you, you don't like them. Woman are intrigued by men that mistreat them. I don't know why but they seem to like this kind of detachment. I'd try ignoring her. Maybe she'll come around. Making them jealous helps too.
