Let's hope with 1 billion people that you have more sense than the USA. Mind your own business, leave others alone, and please don't elect such a moron as your leader.

The economy in India is indeed growing rapidly. But it will take more than economic growth to make them a superpower. India has serious problems with their infrastructure and also serious racial, religious tensions. People in the United States do not realize how easy life is jn comparison. Although many in India are enjoying prosperity right now with the economic growth, there are still horrible conditions for many of the people. There is terrible poverty, need and overpopulation in many areas.

I don't think so.. I don't think that just because India have an Atomic Bomb it mean is a Super Power. India have a lot to do before it will ever come a Super Power. They are too poor and are doing nothing to fix this problem. Their government is just like the ones in Latin America. Talk, talk and no action..

You mean a place that's rife with underage prostitution. The men believe if they sleep with a 10 year old girl they wont get aids. Yeah I'd say they were brilliant With a mind set like that there are bound to be a future world power . Come on. Wake up

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Depends on what you mean by powerful. Look, do this. Closely inspect the last few lines of any record on the wars this country has been involved in. Outside it's own civil war. Never believe your own publicity. Unless you are into being chased out of and shot at in strange countries. Is that the kind of powerful you had in mind? India? You mean that place that was conferred unfriendly nation status during the Carter administration and, to my mind, still is? Take a tip from Mussolini. They got chased around by guys ... with spears. Alright?

Its not just economic strength. China is becoming economically strong but does not have an immigration problem.

People want to live in a place that is not crowded, good sanitation, good roads, interesting things to do, variety of cultures, etc.

India has some of those things, but has a ways to go.

The ONLY people that think that India will become the Superpower are the Indians themselves. Gosh! they already think that they are the most wealthy and powerful country in Asia.

1- all the islamic violence in kashmire will hurt them
2- feuds with next-door neighbor pakistan
3- VERY POOR AREAS AND NEIGHBORHOODS
