recipients at Walmart Pharmacies? My Mother-in-Law was telling me about this today. If you or a friend or family member are on Medicare check it out. It can save a lot of money. My father in law's prescriptions are over $1,000 a month so they are going to take a list of his meds to the Walmart Pharmacist and see which ones they can get for $4.

It's not just for ppl on medicare, it's for everyone. Keep in mind tho, that it's ONLY on the generic prescriptions. You can't walk in there and hand them a prescription say for viagra and expect to pay $4. If your meds aren't available in generic or for whatever reason you cannot take a generic instead, you won't be paying only $4.

It's not only for people on medicare. It's for everyone. People with or without insurance. Of course, not all drugs are covered but the list is pretty extensive. I have 3 perscriptions myself and one of them is on the list. I only save about $6.00 but that's $6.00 a month ($72 a year). Wal-Mart is taking over the world.

It's only for a very limited number of old generic drugs. Some of these drugs are more expensive through Wal-Mart than from other pharmacies. Most of these drugs initally came onto the market more than 20 years ago.

Most of the prescriptions probably won't be covered, unfortunately. If he is paying that much now, then he probably isn't getting generics.

Good luck!
