Is he a picky eater? If he is. Just let him not eat for a few days. His hunger will eventually catch up.

He is so very young.... What is the nature of his disorder? Does he just eat only certain things or what? Coz that's what some little kids do, eat only certain things. I don't think he has a disorder, especially with what the nutritionist said and his age.

For a while we gave our 3 year old granddaughter Pediasure so she got decent nutrition. I do not believe he or our grand daughter has a eating disorder. they are picky eaters & they aare getting what they want from their bottle. Plus, some days kids eat & some days they don't. You have to let them grow through these things. Wait till he won't eat any thing but hot dogs & mac & cheese.
I would listen to the doctor & lighten up.

Three year olds don't know eating disorders. This is just a phase. Scary as it is, it will pass. When he gets hungry enough, he will eat. He may never be a big person, but he will eat enough to survive. Good Luck!

3 year old boys don't develope anorexia, or buliamia. The fact is small children (especially boys) just don't worry about that type of thing. I think it's probably just his "picky" phase, and it will pass.
