I am going back to school after a long absence. One of the courses I need to take is a course from "formal sciences" (basically a logic and reasoning course)... I can take a few different types of courses--but there is an online course for finite math--I am wondering, Will I be able to master it online? There are other classes such as "intro to mathetmatical reasoning" and a philosophy class/logic class "Logic I" but I would rather take it online--my question, to someone who hasnt taken a math class in quite awhile--Is it doable to take Intro To Mathematical Reasoning online?

Hello dear!
Congratulations for returning to the most precious action you can take: improve yourself, through education!
You can loose everything, but education! You self-improve by education and it assists you to communicate better!
Since to return is your decision, whatever you take you will succeed!
The course you are intending to take is more philosophical! You have lived your life and know how and what to achieve, you can design the pace best to you!
Taking the course you think, it would be even better to be one with the course! Think how were those Greeks, some 2,000 to 3,000 years ago thought of those issues and made it a science, created the philosophy and enabled us to live better!
It is all math! Without math there is nothing! We all know math, we just have to find the way to find this knowledge in our brains!
Good luck!

dont let the name fool you, finite math with applications is basically pre-calculus-calculus level math. If you know most of the basics (including Algebra 1, 2, geometry, and trigonometry) then take it.
