I haven't but I don't think it would be fun. It's do or die out there.

Yes.....and "fun" is not the word I would use. Exciting maybe.....I compared it to the big cross town football game. I was training and training and then training some more. When the "big game" arrived, yes it was exciting. I was finally getting to put the skills I had studied and trained for to use. And it was maybe my way of exacting a little revenge for the Beirut Marine Barracks Bombing that the American people have so quickly forgotten.

I did back in 1969. I observed it and I can tell you it takes a heck of a man/woman to do that kind of work. Remember, I observed it. I was not in Combat. I was combat support. For every man in combat there are 10 people behind him in combat support. Now you know.

Combat Ain't Fun.in society there must be Sheperds(Government) and Butchers(Military Establishment),i can say the military is one of the Butcher Department.its a dirty job,but it must be done in a way that is acceptable to the Sheperds.killing aint fun.There are many "ROGUE SHEEP'S" out there that needed to be sheared or butchered.

I did in 91-92 (The Persian Gulf war) No, it is not fun idiot!!! I was with the 3rd Battalion, 160th Infantry Unit (Grunts) when I arrived in Persian Gulf. Always watching your surroundings for yourself and your unit. There snipers, buried mines, ambushes, road bombs, etc...so once again, NO it's not fun.

I have seen combat and it was not fun at all.
Just a tough, dirty, nasty and dangerous job that had to be done.

yes , honduras, panamal, desert shield, and the end of the cold war , in Germany., and loved every minute of it.
