It is not his fault that he was invented by fanatics!
He is a decent fellow, trying to live up to his duty, nothing else.
Some people want him, others don’t.
Don’t blame him for the superstitious beliefs of some!

I do have the song by the Rolling Stones called Sympathy for the Devil. I do not believe in the Devil - do believe in God.

There is no evidence of any kind that "the devil" exists, so I don't have to waste any emotions on a mythical being.

I have no sympathy, though, for ignorant, superstitious people who believe in such nonsense...:)

God made the devil, so even the devil must serve a purpose to us. We just don't understand it yet.

Since Satan is an imaginary character much like Captain Ahab or Spiderman he has no need for sympathy.

Anything that comes to rob, kill and destroy i have no sympathy for. I keep my guard up and put on the full armor of GOD. When these things attempt to come against me I send them to hell. the rest i leave up to GOD and his angels.
