where do you think he's from?
I think he's either someone who's life was wrecked by a prostitue & he's on a derranged crusade or an unknown from america.
my deep sympathies of course go to the families involved.
People who're already having a rough time of it; it's a shame that they are made vulnerable in this way. I opposed institutionalised prostitution as an idea but that is definitely preferable to having street walkers at risk like this.

i'm asking gnnclfft, 'cos someone might think of something worth putting to the officers in charge, besides everybody wants to understand odd human beings and what makes them tick. this guy's probably go crippling mental issues. yes, he's an evil predator but it equally could be that he was abused or had his life destroyed by a prostitute that's why he's on a crusade understanding him might make society learn how to avoid engineering situations where such monsters are created.
but i agree with you it's all off: the whole thing shouldn't be happening, but if we don't talk about it, we get nowhere.

I think more should seriously be done to protect these girls. I don't know much about what the police are doing but it may be that they haven't thought that some of these girls will chance it to feed their drug habits WHY hasn't someone thought to round the 25 or so girls up and MOVE THEM TO A DIFFERENT AREA? if not take them to protective custody or something?

Obviously deranged. I feel so sorry for the families of the women who were murdered. If their families knew that they were prostitutes this must have been a constant worry that one day a policeman would come to the door and say they were murdered.I think that some people forget that prostitutes are someones daughter. No matter what their life is like their families feel the pain of a loss just like everyone else.

It is someone who definitely knows the area well. It is usually a local person who commits murders like these. Maybe a man/woman who has been ripped off by a prostitute in the past, but there is no need to go round doing murder. Where I live there was a 22 yr old guy who murdered 2 ladies at a brothel. one lady was 24 and the other lady was 55. This murderer needs bringing to justice before it is too late and he starts murdering innocent ladies. My heart bleeds for five lives that have been taken so tragically all through ignorance and selfishness. Someone who has taken away a daughter, sister or a wife or even a mother. May they all rest in peace.
Any girls out there in Ipswich going to Christmas /New Year parties, my strongest advice I can give to you is to have a talk to your local Crime Reduction Officer at your local police station and they will even issue you with a Panic attack alarm. If I lived in Ipswich I would surely without hesitation hand them out to the girls.

I think that there is definitely some relevance to the victims being working girls. The killer obviously has a problem with them and has little regard for their lifestyle. Although it must be heart breaking for the families I don't think it would be a good idea to move the girls to another place or put them in protective custody. This would help in making it more difficult for the killer to target his next victim but if he is pushed underground then everyday women could become targets too. At least at the moment we have an idea of what sort of places he is visiting and the kind of company he is keeping.

He'll be surprisingly normal.
Menial job, 25 to 40 years old, white, local, history of difficulties in relationships and quite likely not in a relationship currently.
Very definitely will have issues about power. Probably has a criminal record - maybe sex offences/violence.
If I knew more about the scene of finding the bodies and the state of the bodies I could tell you more.

Hello there I think the suffolk killer/s are a couple of drug dealers and are bumping the girls off at random for kicks.I dont think its over yet but I think things will cool off for a bit and then he or they will start again. The prostitutes have got to accept that they cant go on the streets even if they're withdrawing from drugs!!!!!!!!

He's around 5 10. 155lb. Dishevelled short dark hair. Lives just on the outskirts with his mother who he moved back in with a short while ago after the end of a tummultuos affair. He's probably got a job where he works most days on his own, maybe a driving despatch job. and i can see rr or maybe a W in his name. an probably not white.
y know ..like saying the next crash will involve a red vehicle and a young man with 1.5 passengers. In fact...i bet the yard already have a suspect or one of about four...

mid 30s, lives alone, divorced or separated 2 or 3 months ago. Bad relationship with father, idolised his mother (who I'm assuming is dead). Worked or works as an engineer for British Telecom, probably taken sick leave recently, or contract ended. Originally from the South of England, somewhere like Devon or Somerset.

I think it could be a man or men you wouldn't expect, like a business man in his 40's that lives with in maybe 5-20 miles of Ipswich. He probably lives in a middle class area and has a wife.
It's never those you suspect, unless you like at that Roy Whiting... he just screams PERV!!!
Be carful out though, stay with friends, even if you are taking a taxi, and don't get to drunk. You can get rape alarms form your local police station.

Bog Standard pervert, done girls, boys, sheep, bondage, underage and wants a new exciting way of getting off.
Of course one sympathises with the families who have to bear the shame of a prostitute in the family, and looks with incredulity at police who suggest Prostitutes should record punters car numbers, They do for blackmail purposes already if they have any sense!

its a real shame. I have no objection to prostitutes, and no to the smart comment i am not 1!!! to me they are just doing a job. Thats my opinion. As to the question, i have a feeling that maybe someone close to him was a streetworker and he felt neglected and ashamed. It's also awful that its so close to christmas as well, though it would be awful any time of the year.
