I push forward because I know that things will get better.

I keep my chin up for my daughter, my husband, my dog, my family, my friends, etc.

I'm an Atheist.

I don't need a god to make myself feel better.

Why do I push forward when life gets tough? Because what else would I do? Lie down and give up?

God and his son Jesus helps me to keep my chin up. Knowing that God loves me and wants only what is best for me.

We push because life doesn't get tough it's the decisions we've made that toughens our lives. Life is what you make it. We get another opportunity every morning when we wake up to make today better than yesterday. So keep your chin up and give it a go tomorrow.

Knowing that I cannot blame supernatural forces for what occurs in my life. Personal responsibility. The more rational and less religious I've become, the better my life has as well. I value my existence in the now, and don't believe there's anything to look forward to after death. This is it, there is no second chance. So I make it good for myself.

Because in the end I know that everything will be alright. Thats what my father told me. So that I what I know.

I'm Agnostic, and I do not want to have to rely on a religion to help me through the bad in life. But those who do want it, good for you. Its your free will to believe anything and if the idea or belief of God helps you, thats a very good thing.

Keep the faith, but only because its what you really believe.
Keep your chin up, because everything will be okay.

Whatever happens, happens.

The three F's. Faith Family and Friends.

I also know that many others have gone through much worse than what I call a bad day. I look at Job and how he persevered. I think on "Be still and know I am God." Sometimes I read or sing "It is well with my soul." If you do not know the story, you should look into it.

i imagine there is plenty properly worth living for without the idea in higher beings. those who say that to me sound like newborn complaining that if the rollercoaster holiday would not very last continuously they don't opt to pass in any respect. i imagine life is a superb threat to participate in shaping the international we stay, fall in love, advance a kin, devour an ice cream, watch the sundown, study and pass that alongside to strengthen destiny generations, cuddle a domestic dog, wade in the sea, and so on.. As for only different human beings. As tricky as different human beings may be i do not imagine it is so terrible. Humanity is our genuine immortality and legacy so we ought to continuously attempt to create an excellent destiny. I now and again ask your self about non secular human beings's motivation to do this different then rewards from their deity which seems hollow to me personally. i do not see how a higher potential modern-day unavoidably makes life more desirable ideal or more desirable significant myself.

The fact that I'm pretty good at putting things back together after they've fallen apart. It doesn't happen much recently largely because I'm also pretty good at keeping things from falling apart in my life - mainly through planning ahead and acting.

(Atheist)

I guess that I always have the knowledge that things will get better, as they almost always do...and I remember that the struggle is part of experience, and that it will help me to grow. During that time it helps me to write things out in my journal or in letters to God (this might sound strange coming from an atheist, but that is what I do ;) ), which become records of my experience, too, for me to look back on. :)

In all likelihood this is the only life I'm going to get. I can't afford to get bogged down in hopelessness. I have people who rely on me, and I have hopes and dreams that won't be fulfilled by moping. When I feel like everything is caving in on me, I remember all the people throughout history who have triumphed over adversity. They did it, I tell myself, so I can, too. Humans are remarkably resilient.
