Hey there girlfriend. You don't need a special "fritatta pan" to make a frittata or something like it. Chances are, what you need (and will be able to use many times afterward) is a springform pan. These are great because they "spring" right off the sides of whatever your cooking so you don't have to worry about making a mess of the presentation. These are great for fritattas, cakes, quiches, and tarts among other things. Cast iron will also do the trick as far as sticking things under the broiler. A good cast iron skillet is a must in any kitchen and a great investment at that. It will last you many many years and cooks food to perfection everytime. Either of these things can be purchased anywhere that sells cookware or you can buy at http://www.amazon.com

I've always just used a metal frying pan (or saute pan). Just make sure it is 100% metal so you can pop it under the broiler after you've cooked in it on the stove.

I honestly didn't know that they made one. Just use a small fry pan, and you can put it under the broiler.
