They don't really mean "the truth", they mean "the Truth", which has nothing whatsoever to do with the truth. Seriously.

I dont see any Christians here saying "because mine is right" in fact I dont see them answering in the ways the atheists think they will.
If I say I have the Truth, then I am a liar. I believe what I believe for many reasons but I know it doesnt make them "truth". I can give you a reason how it is different than Muslim "truth" though. I believe Jesus meant what He said when He said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by me" I believe He has the Truth so I follow Him. What makes that different than the Muslims is they believe Muhammad had the Truth, which maybe he did but... his "truth" made him a very rich and powerful man with dozens of wives. Jesus had no wealth or power no wife or children. Denied Himself worldly goods and willingly died to defend it. I know this doesnt make it more truthful by default but to me it's a great deal more impressive than Muhammad.

When one becomes of The True Christian Faith, that Faith is based on fact. Based on a personal connection with God that is absolutly certain... I was not even looking for god on the morniing of My Salvation. I was one who mocked the "biblethumppers". I got up that morning a mocker and in less than 4 hrs. I was One of The Church... I did nt get reached to by any one... I did not even own a Bible at the time... But when I heard God I had the choice to continue to reject Him or to come to Him... I made The Right Choice. I can not "prove" God to you. No one of The Faith can do that. The Truth you need as The Proof is between God and you... When, if you ever do, hear God's call, you will know you have the choise to reject or accept The Truth...If you accept what God offers you too will Know The Truth.... and you will come to know also why islam is a deception.
If you have any question concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith you may email me. One honest question receives one honest answer to the best of my ability.

Good question... We have proof, wherein others just have rhetoric.
The difference between self-made truth vs. actual truth lies in the being able to prove via evidence. Remember the original episodes of CSI (before it became a soap opera)? The mistake one could make is to force your opinion on the evidence, rather than the evidence speaking for itself.
Now, your question gives the detail regarding Muslim truth and what I would consider the truth I find in the Bible. OK, let's explore that since you brought it up...
They say the Koran has never been changed, problem is that it can also never be translated as well. The Koran is written in the highest form of Arabic that rises even above poetry. So any translation is a false interpretation. So, how are we to scrutinize if the Koran is a work of man or work of Allah? None. We have to go by man's word that it is a work of Allah and has never changed. How do YOU know? All the English translation on the Web? False. All the people who have read a translation, false meaning.
The Bible, on the other hand, can not only prove its accuracy of text, it can also prove that it is from the eternal--that it has been written by God. To see the evidence of this, we must first establish the fact that God is a spirit who dwells outside of our physical time domain--that is, in eternity. In the Bible, God describes Himself in Isaiah 57:15,
"For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: 'I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit.'"
If God dwells in the realm of eternity as the Bible states, then He must be able to declare future events as if they had happened in the past. We who live in the physical restraints of time and space have the disadvantage of seeing the world according to a timeline. But God sees the past and the future as one complete picture.
"Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,'" Isaiah 46:9-10
So through the vehicle of prophecy, God throws down the gauntlet to all the other "holy books" and all the other "gods" that dare to claim the title. The God of the Bible challenged in Isaiah 41:22-23,
"Let them bring forth and show us what will happen; let them show the former things, what they were, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us things to come. Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yes, do good or do evil, that we may be dismayed and see it together."
OK, there is the challenge from the God of the Bible. No other book contains prophecy that has been fulfilled with accuracy. Where is prophecy in the Koran? So far I have only found one passage that I would deem a prophecy. But hey, it is an English translation, how do I know I can trust it?
So getting back to CSI. The mistake we can make is interject our own view of truth, rather than letting the evidence speak the truth to us. Unless the truth comes from the Bible, it's all relative truth and not truth at all.
BTW, There is FAR more evidence. A good book to read on this subject is listed below.

Christians believe every word of the Holy Bible. We believe only by Jesus Christ can you come to God the Father.
John 14:6 Jesus said," I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.
We believe you have to believe God is real, believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for all mankind, that God raised him from the dead, that you have to confess and agree you are a sinner, turn from a life of sin, and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart, in order to have everlasting life, and to escape judgement, and the lake of fire.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives inside all true born again Believers.
The muslims don't believe any of what I just said!
They believe a book called the quran, and that muhammad is a prophet of allah. that only they will go to heaven and have 70 something vergins.
Christians don't believe anything a muslim says..

I'm sure you've heard the answer before. It's because of faith. What do you believe in. Truth is tried and true. Only God can open your heart to the truth, no amount of arguing anyone does can persuade you. Only God can reveal it to you. I am not saying that He will divine the answers to you, but you will know when He lets you know.

What truth are you talking about?
Your prophet is self proclaimed. This is the truth
How can a person who failed his carnal test and have a total of eleven wives be a prophet? He was a polygamist and an adulterer. How can he be Holy?
What about the lives he took with his scimitar and ransacked Jewish and Christian caravans to take their wealth? What about bad mouthing Christ that there was no Crucifixion. How could he know? He wasn't at the site, besides he was born 600 years later.

Doctrine & Covenants 6:11
11 And if thou wilt inquire, thou shalt know mysteries which are great and marvelous; therefore thou shalt exercise thy gift, that thou mayest find out mysteries, that thou mayest bring many to the knowledge of the truth...
Moroni 10:5
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
One must ask our Heavenly Father what is true and what isn't.

Christians separate themselves from other religions due to the prophesy that was spoken of Christ. It's been proven what was written in the Old Testament was, in fact, written before the birth of Christ. He was born where it was predicted, lived as predicted and he died as predicted. There was no prophesy concerning Muhammad. Nor was there prophesy concerning the "gods" of any other religion. That's why Christians cling to their "truths". Well, that along with many other reasons.

In the Old ways, God or Angels spoke Truth, handed down their Laws and ways. In the New
World, JESUS IS THE LIVING TRUTH....
When your father lays down the rules of your house out of Respect and Love you obey without question or doubt, for you know your father loves you and wants the best for you. Believing in God is the same thing, these are his laws, this is his way and out of Respect and Love you obey without question or doubt, for you know God your Father Loves you and wants the Best for you.
What your father prepares you for, is the day he
can hand the Torch over to you that you may carry on the Legacy....
Now that you are carrying the Torch, and you accept Christ, Jesus lives through you, your kindness, your love, your patience, your sacrifice, your positive attitude,
your charity, your strength, your will, Your Faith.
