I am 14 and a VERY petite person. only 4'8"....I feel like i am quite fit (a runner) but my structure is very wide and i have large hips. I just don't like the way I am built, is there anything I can do?

One thing you can do is just keep running! Another is to search around and try new exercise techniques like yoga or pilates. The "problem" if you'd call it that, may be your diet, so you should make sure that you're following your food piramid;) However, I really do not think that if you are in shape, and you are healthy, you should be worring about your body. You are so much better off than a lot of others who lack the stamina that you have to get fit. However, if you sincerely feel like you want to change your body, I would recommened simply testing all thats out there, and maybe you'll find out something knew about yourself in the process:)

Not really, genetics plays the biggest role in determining your body type. You may simply be an endomorph at that is that. My only advice to you is to learn to like the way you look since that is part of you.

Pear-shaped, are ya? huh. I knew a gal from Georgia like that. She usta be a runner, too. Hm. Still pullin' a wide load, she is. Reckon there isn't a whole lot you can do about it.

dont change it! it shuldnt matter they arent too big right? i have the same thing lol only im taller im 4'11... lol but im 11 sooo dang gurl ur short! lolness

one of them skinny people who eat alot, no fair, ya'll always stay skinny, gain some weight!
