Contrary to what others here have said, most deaths from opiates are not really "overdoses". They are most likely due to impurities in street drugs. You can read a discussion of that subject in "The Heroin Overdose Mystery" at http://druglibrary.org/schaffer/Library/studies/cu/cu12.htm

I'm not sure, but I will tell you one thing I know for sure. NO ONE, EVER, IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND, HAS EVER DIED FROM SMOKING MARIJUANA. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. I just wanted to be clear about that.
