What do you mean, "breeded or not"?

Stud fee = $800
2 Artificial inseminations with shipping/collection =$1000
c-section = $1200
health testing =$800

All this, for 2-3 puppies.

This does not include basic prenatal care for the *****, nor puppy care what so ever. How many thousands do you think a breeder should be willing to lose on a litter? They are extremely expensive to breed (expensive to own as well). They have to be bred by artificial insemination and birthed by c-section.

Bulldogs are known for health problems. This breed, especially, you will want to make sure to buy from a good show breeder who does appropriate health testing.

If you find a 'cheap' one, the breeder is probably cutting corners somewhere and you may ending up paying in huge Vet bills and alot of heartache.

My friend took in a Bulldog from a bad breeder. He has the genetic mange, which is not curable and requires regular maintenance to keep it under control. Very common genetic issue with this breed and if you aren't careful about who you buy one from, you will very likely end up with one that will cost you MUCH MORE in vet bills later down the line.

Your best bet is to contact the closest Bulldog breeder club for your area and get referrals for breeders, then do your homework on the ones you're going to consider from that point.

Here's a link to the AKC site which lays out the guidelines for ethical and reputable breeding. Make sure who ever you consider is following these guidelines and is able to prove it. You can also contact the AKC site and they can steer you in the direction of a breed club in your area.

same as I said before. Just be sure to see the parents before you purchase. Good Luck!
